This is our first newsletter of 2022, which we will continue to send out at the beginning of every month.
Talent Show 👯♂️🎵🎤⛸
Across Generations held a London Community Talent Showcase on February 13th. There were lots of great performances including a harpist, figure skater, dancers and singers. Our Talent Showcase was held with the goal of bringing our community together to show support for retirement home residents that have been isolated by the worsening pandemic. The performances have been recorded and will be sent to local retirement homes in London! Across Generations would like to thank the performers as well as those that came to the event.
Pen Pal Program 💌📝
Across Generations’ pen pal program has been steadily running for the past few months in partnership with Chelsey Park, Arabella Retirement Living, Highview Residences, Ashwood Manor and Regent Manor! Letters have been going back and forth between our student volunteers and the senior residents. We are seeing the positive impact that the letters are bringing to the residents and would like to thank our student volunteers for making our pen pal program possible.
