What does the model look like (physical letters or email)?
Our organization exchanges all letters virtually through email.
For example, we are currently sending .pdf copies of handwritten letters to retirement home coordinators. These coordinators then distribute the letters accordingly to the residents in the program. Once replies have been written, the coordinators email us pdf copies of the letters (scanned, handwritten or typed). Our executive team distributes these reply letters back to the student volunteers accordingly, and the cycle repeats every month.

The letters are being delivered by email roughly once a month.
How long is the program intended to run for?
The program is intended to run for at least 6 months. Our Pen Pal Partnership Program frequency and length can be tailored custom to each retirement home. After the duration of 6 months, the program will continue until either party does not wish to continue the correspondence.
